FAGD, Fellow, Academy of General Dentistry

Dr. Jennifer Jupio was raised in Northwest Houston and graduated from Cypress Falls High School. She received her BA and BS degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.  Afterwards she attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she received her D.D.S. She went on to complete a residency in their Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. She later obtained a Preceptorship in Dental Implantology from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She is proud to be a Longhorn!

Dr. Jupio values continuing education, and believes you can never stop learning. You don’t know what you don’t know. She is proud to have earned her Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, or FAGD. To earn Fellowship in the AGD, dentists must take more than 500 hours of education courses in various disciplines. Candidates must also pass a rigorous exam. She is one of only 7% of general dentists who have achieved this honor.

She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.

Dr. Jupio loves working with kids and grownups who are kids-at-heart. She knows that most people don’t like going to the dentist, so she tries to make every visit as pleasant and as comfortable as possible. Knowing that she’ll see most patients only twice a year, she has a passion for getting them to understand the importance of keeping their teeth clean the other 363 days of the year. She strives to have her patients leave their visits happier than when they first walked in.

She loves to sing at her church, and if she had free time, she would take a nap or maybe even read a good book, but she would probably watch Netflix or a Hallmark movie instead.

Her favorite candy is Costco’s chocolate covered raisins.
